After 90km drive south of Hanoi will lead you to Ninh Binh, the site of the one capital city of ancient Vietnam before Hanoi took its leading role in 11th century. The area is featured by lots of well-known sceneries, which includes Tam Coc and Hoa Lu ancient capital with the old temples dedicated to King Dinh & King Le reigned in 10th century. The visit in Ninh Binh starts by Hoa Lu ancient capital with Dinh & Le temples. Continue to take a boat trip in Tam Coc where spectacular limestone karsts jut out from the green paddy fields reminding about Guilin (China) and Halong Bay of Vietnam, which gives this scenery the name “Halong-bay-on-land”. Back to Hanoi.

After early breakfast, leave Hanoi to drive to the coastal port of Halong. The journey takes around four hours with a break to stretch your legs. Upon arrival in Tuan Chau Marina, embark your boat and start cruising. Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site composed of almost 2,000 islands and jungle-clad limestone pillars.
After arriving at noon, you will board a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on Halong Bay with an excellent menu of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner are served on board.

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the aquamarine waters of the bay at its best. After tea/coffee and pastries have been served, the boat will continue to cruise quietly through the spectacular limestone formations of Halong Bay. Enjoy this more isolated part of the bay’s spectacular and unique islands. You will return to Halong harbor after a very hearty brunch on board. Back to Hanoi.

After breakfast, we start Hanoi city tour. Visit Ho Chi Minh complex (outside), including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum - the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or uncle Ho, then visit Pillar Pagoda - a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square lake.
Visit The Temple of Literature – the first university in Vietnam.
Drive to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, which is on the shore of West Lake and enjoy fresh air at West Lake. The last place of city tour is Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake) with Ngoc Son Temple (outside) to see the peaceful green waters, The Huc Bridge, Thap But (Pen Tower).
