Welcome to Saigon and start your tour with us! Meet your driver then transfer to Hanoi center, check in to your hotel at 2:00 pm before exploring this beautiful city.

DAY 02: SAIGON – CU CHI – SAIGON HALF-DAY CITY TOUR (B/-/-)

Continue to Cu Chi to visit Cu Chi tunnels, where you have to become a true explorer when you crawl underground for an insight into life as the guerrillas during the Vietnam War. Be ready for a dark and sweaty experience you might never go through before!

Then start Saigon city tour, the first place is The Independence Palace symbolizes Vietnam's victory, peace, and territorial integrity. This place has a glamorous design, hundreds of rooms equipped with luxurious furnishings and decorations, and an enormous and gorgeous exterior space; continue to Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office: Built between 1877 and 1883 this is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture. End of the tour is Ben Thanh Market: This bustling market is very popular with tourists, primarily due to its central location. It has a wide selection of goods ranging from fake Nike shoes to beautiful silk Ao Dais.

Return to Saigon for dinner and cozy overnight.

DAY 03: SAIGON – MEKONG DELTA – SAIGON (B/-/-)

Travel to the Mekong Delta to take a boat ride and float down the Mekong River when you arrive in My Tho. En route visit Coconut Candy Village or Cai Be Village to get a closer look of how their specialties are made. Row a sampan through the channels, you can learn more about the local life and sample freshly harvested tropical fruits.

DAY 04: SAIGON - FLIGHT TO DANANG - COCONUT FOREST - HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN (B/-/-)

After breakfast, depart to take a flight o Danang. After arrive head to visit Bay Mau 7 hectares water coconut forest at Cam Thanh Village. Hearing about the past war story before exploring the now tranquil coconut-palm-flanked waterways of a past war and hearing of the extreme conditions endured by soldiers of both sides. Enjoy Thung Chai basket boat demonstration by our crews.

Learn to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats and join in basket boat racing for fun and learn how to make origami creations from reeds of palm leaves such as grasshoppers, birds, rings, sunglass, bracelets, etc.

In the afternoon, visit Hoi An town, recognized by UNESCO in 1999 as a World Heritage site because of its unusually well-preserved ancient streets and homes: Japanese Bridge, a Sino-Vietnamese - Japanese merchant house, the Chinese Fujian Temple, Hoi An central market, Museum of History and Culture, Hoi An Handicraft Workshop.

DAY 05: HOI AN COUNTRYSIDE (B/L/-)

After a hearty breakfast, enjoy a morning bike ride through the rural scenery of Hoi An to a small vegetable planting village located on the banks of Tra Que Village. Tra Que Village has been infamous for its special aromatic Vietnamese herbs. Join local people in their daily works of planting and watering produce. Here, you can take a cooking class to learn how to cook some local specialties in a tranquil setting. There is nothing better than enjoying your creations for lunch. Look forward to a peaceful and memorable night in Hoi An.

DAY 06: HOI AN - BA NA HILLS - HUE (B/-/-)

After breakfast, leave Hoi An to visit Bana Hill. We take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na hills station, visit Vong Nguyet hills, Linh Ung pagoda, The Old Villas of French. Moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Nghinh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour and Linh Ung Pagoda.

In the late afternoon, transfer to Hue

Take a morning cruise on the tranquil Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda after breakfast and explore this sacred pagoda. Continue to the former Imperial Citadel and enjoy this World Heritage Site to the fullest. Distance: ~ 130km, ~ 3-hour drive (depending on traffic)

Today, enjoy breakfast then transfer to Dong Van. Drive through Quan Ba skygate, take a picture, and have a panorama view of the town. Head to Lung Tam Valley, discover the beautiful architecture of the old houses of the Hmong (Pao’s house) and Lolo people before leaving for the Vuong’s Palace in Sa Phin Valley. Continue to Lung Cu Flag Point – a monument in Northern Vietnam. Transfer to Dong Van, you have time to relax and discover the ancient town and local market.

DAY 11: DONG VAN – BA BE (B/-/-)

Leave Dong Van behind, you will head to Ba Be. Don’t fall asleep because you never want to miss the Ma Phi Leng pass, one of the most beautiful passes in the North of Vietnam. Arrive in Ba Be National Park, to explore the Ba Be Lake, the largest natural lake in Vietnam, which is considered Halong Bay in the mountains, on a boat trip. Enjoy the serene view of the Tay community’s stilted homes and corn farm. Visit the Nung settlement and the Dau Dang waterfall on foot.

Today, head East to Halong Bay - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Board a junk, which is an iconic traditional type of boat in Asia to cruise through the bay with 3000 stunning limestone resembling magnificent creatures. Free to immerse in the outstanding scenic beauty or engage in various activities. The trip can’t be completed without an overnight onboard.

Enjoy miraculous sunrise over the islets of the Bay. The boat will take us to go about marvelous areas. Then it’s back to the boat and cruise to Halong Port arriving around noon. Back to Hanoi.
