Distance: ~ 180km, ~ 3-hour drive (depending on traffic)

Travel to the Mekong Delta to take a boat ride and float down the Mekong River when you arrive in My Tho. En route visit Coconut Candy Village or Cai Be Village to get a closer look of how their specialties are made. Row a sampan through the channels, you can learn more about the local life and sample freshly harvested tropical fruits.

DAY 03: SAIGON – CU CHI – SAIGON (B/-/-)

Continue to Cu Chi to visit Cu Chi tunnels, where you have to become a true explorer when you crawl underground for an insight into life as the guerrillas during the Vietnam War.

DAY 04: SAIGON – PHNOM PENH (B/-/-)

After breakfast, depart to the airport to take flight Phnom Penh.

Upon arrival at Phnom Penh Int’s port, meet our guide & driver, then you’ll accompany to get on vehicle and drive directly to hotel (around 15mins) to check in.

 This afternoon, start your visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (from S21 prison). This prison was a secondary school, and used as a prison by Pol Pot's security forces and became the largest detention and torture center under the Khmer Rouge regime. Follow by one of Phnom Penh’s most iconic landmarks, The Royal Palace (visit from outside only as still under renovation), is a complex of buildings which serves as the royal residence of the King of Cambodia. Continue to visit Wat Phnom “Mountain Pagoda” is a Buddhist temple that symbolizes the name of Phnom Penh, located on the hill. According to legend, the first pagoda on this site was erected in 1372 to house four statues of Buddha deposited here by the waters of the Mekong River and discovered by Lady Penh. Wat Phnom is the most popular place for local people come to play healthy spot or praying for their good luck as well as admire the sundown. If time permitted, explore Phsar Thmey (Central Market), a large market constructed in 1937 in the shape of a dome with four arms branching out into vast hallways with countless stalls of goods. The four wings of this gigantic yellow dome are teeming with stalls that sell goods ranging from gold and silver, antique coins, money exchange, books, flowers, food, fabrics, shoes, souvenirs, seafood and countless other products.

DAY 06: ANGKOR DISCOVERY (B/-/-)

In the morning, our guide & driver will pick you up and heading to visit Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples which has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Its appeal lies in the fact that, unlike the other monuments of Angkor, it was abandoned and swallowed by the jungle, looking very much the ways most of the Angkor temples appeared when European explorers first stumbled upon them, it was used as a location in the film Tomb Raider. Then head to see the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire, Angkor Thom, the Great Angkor City, established in the late twelfth century by King Jayavarman VII. We also visit the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King & Baphoun temple before continue to visit Angkor Wat, the most popular tourist attraction in Cambodia-it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Angkor Wat, also known as the “City of Temples” a temple complex in Cambodia and one of the largest religious monuments in the world, on a site measuring 162.6 hectares. Originally constructed as a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, it was gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple towards the end of the 12th century. Seeing the architectural masterpiece of Angkor Wat. We stroll around this massive monument, exploring the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Back to hotel.

DAY 08: HANOI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE (B/-/-)

After breakfast, depart to Sapa to explore the beautiful Nothern town, it take about 5 hours driving. Sapa is well-known itself for stunning and spectacular landscape of rice terrace and Indochina highest peak as well as colourful ethnic minority culture.

Check in the hotel and free at leisure.

In the afternoon, visit Cat Cat Village, an age-old village of H'Mong ethnic group remaining unique customs and practices that are lots in other villages, admire a lively and colorful picture. Discover countless unique features of H’Mong.

DAY 09: SAPA – SILVER WATERFALL – HAVEN GATE (B/-/-)

After breakfast, diver pick you up at hotel and start to explo Silver waterfall and Heaven Gate, the drive uphill offers most spectacular scenery of Fansipan Mount. Just 1km out of the town, rose flower farms and later chayote grows on bamboo frames covered a vast area. We stop at the magnificent Silver Waterfall and start walk up along the beautiful waterfall and enjoy the spectacular scenery surround. You can also spend time visiting the fish farm nearby.

Continue the road trip further to Heaven Gate – Tram Ton Pass. At 2,047m above sea level, the Heaven Gate – Tram Ton Pass is the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. From here enjoy walking around for half an hour for beautiful scenery of both two side of Hoang Lien Son mountain range. The wind blows stronger to force the clouds moving constantly. It is the best point here to enjoy breathtaking scenery of the two side of Fansipan Mountain range. Amazingly that you can feel the weather very different by the sides: In many days It is foggy and cloudy on Sapa side and sunny brightly the other side. Afterward back to Hotel.

DAY 10: SAPA – FANSIPAN – HANOI (B/-/-)

After have breakfast, visit Fansipan peak. Then spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Reach the altitute of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan - the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos). Come back to Cable Car Station and head to Sapa center.

Free at leisure until evening. In the evening, transfer to the Lao Cai railway station for the overnight train to Hanoi.

DAY 12: HANOI – NINH BINH – HANOI (B/-/-)

We pick you up at your hotel in Old Quater, departure for Hoa Lu - Tam Coc, enjoying the beautiful sceneries of the rural areas on the way.

After arriving in Ninh Binh province, the guide takes you to visit Hoa Lu - the Ancient Royal capital of Viet Nam. We will visit Dinh king temple and Le king temple, in the 10th century, finding out the heroic histories of this two Kings in Chinese Wars. After that, we go to Tam Coc (10 km far from Hoa Lu).

Have lunch at local restaurant.

After lunch you will get on boat - rowed by the local people - in Hoang Long River to visit Tam Coc (three caves) on the way. You pass through three enormous caves that provide a brief respite from the intense summer sun. It takes approximately two hours to go up and down the river and along the way, you witness local fisherfolk, village life along the river and, of course, the striking limestone karst formations that Tam Coc is famous for.
