Welcome to Hanoi - the capital of Vietnam and start your tour with us! Meet your tour leader and check in to your hotel at 2:00 pm before exploring this beautiful city with your tour guide.

DAY 02: HANOI – HALONG (B/L/D)

Distance: ~ 180km, ~ 3-hour drive (depending on traffic)

Today, head East to Halong Bay - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Board a junk, which is an iconic traditional type of boat in Asia to cruise through the bay with 3000 stunning limestone resembling magnificent creatures. Get lost in the breathtaking scenery or try your hand at something new. A nighttime boat ride is a necessary part of the journey.

DAY 03: HALONG – HANOI – FLIGHT TO DA NANG – HOI AN (B/BR/-)

Awaken to a fresh cup of coffee and continue your voyage to new bay sights that evoke analogies to mythical dragons and battling cocks! After lunch, disembark and head back to Hanoi for a flight to Danang - a city in Central Vietnam. From this city, we’ll transfer for 40 minutes to Hoi An known for its exceptionally well-preserved Ancient Town with charming architecture. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of cities, this is the perfect spot for you to unwind.

DAY 04: HOI AN ANCIENT QUARTER (B/L/-)

After a hearty breakfast, enjoy a morning bike ride through the rural scenery of Hoi An to Tra Que Village. Here, you can take a cooking class to learn to cook local specialties and enjoy your creations in a tranquil setting.

Head to the Japanese Bridge - the 400-year-old architectural symbol of Hoi An. Don’t forget to ask your tour guide about the surprising myths and legends of the delicately carved wooden statues on the bridge. Next stops are the Tan Ky old house - a Sino - Vietnamese - Japanese merchant house built 200 years ago, Chinese Fujian Temple and the Culture Museum. Visiting Hoi An, be sure to try out the specialties and go shopping for unique gifts at Hoi An’s Central Market. Look forward to a peaceful and memorable night in Hoi An.

DAY 05: HOI AN – DA NANG – FLIGHT TO SAIGON (B/-/-)

Travel back to Da Nang for a flight to to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, which is still called Saigon by the locals. Tour Ben Thanh Market, where you can buy from souvenirs to exceptional local food. Later, head to the Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral to learn about the history and exquisite architecture. Continue to the War Museum and the Reunification Palace and immerse in stories and collections of artifacts.

DAY 06: SAIGON – CAO DAI – CU CHI – SAIGON (B/-/-)

Journey to Cao Dai temple and attend their noontime service. The colorful Cao Dai temples will surely attract you from the first sight! Continue to Cu Chi to visit Cu Chi tunnels, where you have to become a true explorer when you crawl underground for an insight into life as the guerrillas during the Vietnam War. Be ready for a dark and sweaty experience you might never go through before! Return to Saigon for dinner.

DAY 07: SAIGON – CAI BE – VINH LONG – CAN THO (B/-/-)

Travel to the Mekong Delta to take a boat ride and float down the Mekong River when you arrive in My Tho. En route visit Coconut Candy Village or Cai Be Village to get a closer look of how their specialties are made. Row a sampan through the channels, you can learn more about the local life and sample freshly harvested tropical fruits. You will head to Can Tho about midday for overnight.

DAY 08: CAN THO – SAIGON (B/-/-)

Take a boat tour to Cai Rang Floating Market, which is a unique market of the Mekong Delta. Before going back to Saigon, take a quick city tour that includes the Binh Thuy historic home and the Khmer Munirangsyaram Pagoda, where you get to know more about the diverse culture of the Southern part of Vietnam.

DAY 09: SAIGON – FLIGHT TO SIEMREAP (B/-/-)

Check out before 12:00 pm and transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for onward flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia nestling between rice paddies and stretches along the Siem Reap River. Designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Angkor Archaeological Park has plenty of temple ruins including Bayon, Banteay Srey and the legendary Angkor Wat.

Have your first relaxing night in Siem Reap to recharge energy for the journey around the city.

DAY 10: ANGKOR EXPLORING (B/-/-)

Start your journey to avoid the crow by going to Ta Prohm, also known as the Tomb Raider temple. Most of this temple is covered by giant trees growing over the structures for over 600 years. Head on over to Ta Keo - the temple had been built hundred years before Angkor Wat temple. Then visit the ruined jungle-tucked Ta Nei temple before continuing your trip to the Victory Gate of Angkor Thom. Discover the spectacular Angkor Thom temple complex by passing through the gates. Enjoy a trip of the Angkor Wat - World Heritage Site or the Heart & Soul of Cambodia! Of course, our English-speaking local guide and driver will be your companion. In here you will have time to admire the architectural masterpiece and stroll around this massive monument, exploring the galleries with libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds. Go back to the hotel and relax.

DAY 11: KAMPONG PHLUK FLOATING VILLAGE (B/-/-)

We explore Kampong Phluk Floating Village, which is 33 kilometers north of Siem Reap. The villages each have roughly 3000 residents, most of whom are Khmers. The region is surrounded by flooded mangrove forests, which are home to a variety of species, including crab-eating macaques. Relax in Siem Reap before leaving Cambodia.
