DAY 03: HANOI – NINH BINH (B/–/–)

Distance: ~100km, ~2.5 hours drive (depending on traffic)
Drive about 2,5 hours from Hanoi to Ninh Binh named as Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of the Dinh and Le dynasties dating back to the 11th century. Not much of the capital remains, but some of its ruins and tombs have survived for a millennium. Enjoy spectacular scenery and spiritual feeling at the temples. continue to nearby Tam Coc or Three Caves in Vietnamese, an area of natural beauty that is often referred to as Halong Bay on land. Take a cruise on rowing boat down the emerald river to the ancient caves. See limestone karsts jetting skywards out of electric green rice paddies – There are so many opportunities to taking stunning photos!
Overnight in Ninh Binh.

DAY 04: NINH BINH – HA LONG BAY (B/L/D)

Distance: ~ 200km, ~ 3,5-hour drive (depending on traffic)
After early breakfast, leave Ninh Binh to drive to the coastal port of Halong. The journey takes around four hours with a break to stretch your legs. Upon arrival in Tuan Chau Marina, embark your boat and start cruising. Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site composed of almost 2,000 islands and jungle-clad limestone pillars.
After arriving at noon, you will board a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on Halong Bay with an excellent menu of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner are served on board.

DAY 05: HALONG – HANOI (B/Br/–)

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the aquamarine waters of the bay at its best. After tea/coffee and pastries have been served, the boat will continue to cruise quietly through the spectacular limestone formations of Halong Bay. Enjoy this more isolated part of the bay’s spectacular and unique islands. You will return to Halong harbor after a very hearty brunch on board. Back to Hanoi.

Important Notes:
- We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance (covering emergency medical evacuation) for trips to Vietnam.
- Prices are valid 30 days from the date of offers. Past the date, price and conditions may be readjusted.
