DAY 01: HANOI ARRIVAL – LAO CAI (–/–/–)

Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, you will be greeted by driver and local English speaking guide. Transfer to train station to transfer to Lao Cai.

DAY 02: LAO CAI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE (B/–/–)

Accommodation: Hotel

Distance: ~ 320km, ~ 5-hour drive (depending on traffic)

The train arrives in the early morning at Lao Cai railway station (around 5am) and transfer to Sapa. Sapa is well-known itself for stunning and spectacular landscape of rice terrace and Indochina highest peak as well as colourful ethnic minority culture.

Check in the hotel and free at leisure.

In the afternoon, visit Cat Cat Village, an age-old village of H'Mong ethnic group remaining unique customs and practices that are lots in other villages, admire a lively and colorful picture. Discover countless unique features of H’Mong.

DAY 03: SAPA – FANSIPAN – SILVER WATER FALL - HANOI (B/–/–)

After have breakfast, visit Fansipan peak. Then spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Reach the altitute of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan - the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos). Come back to Cable Car Station and head to Sapa center. Afterward, visit Silver waterfall, take your beautiful photo with this waterfall.

Free at leisure until evening. In the evening, transfer to the Lao Cai railway station for the overnight train to Hanoi.

DAY 04: HANOI – HALONG (B/L/D)

Accommodation: Cruise

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Distance: ~180km, ~ 3 hours drive (depending on traffic)

We will arrive at Hanoi train station around 5:30am where you will be picked up brought to a small hotel to freshen up and have breakfast then leave Hanoi to drive to the coastal port of Halong. The journey takes around four hours with a break to stretch your legs. Upon arrival in Tuan Chau Marina, embark your boat and start cruising. Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site composed of almost 2,000 islands and jungle-clad limestone pillars.

After arriving at noon, you will board a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on Halong Bay with an excellent menu of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner are served on boat.

DAY 05: HALONG – HANOI (B/Br/–)

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the aquamarine waters of the bay at its best. After tea/coffee and pastries have been served, the boat will continue to cruise quietly through the spectacular limestone formations of Halong Bay. Enjoy this more isolated part of the bay’s spectacular and unique islands. You will return to Halong harbor after a very hearty brunch onboard.
