Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, you will be greeted by your local guide. Transfer to your hotel (check in after 14:00, early check-in is subject to availability). If time permits in the afternoon, walking tour around Old Quarter City, visit Opera house and other Colonial buildings, Sward lake, Ngoc Son pagoda…
Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast, enjoy a 90 minutes guided walking tour through the bustling Old Quarter and sprawling Dong Xuan Market. The Old Quarter, home to more than 1000 traditional houses, dates from 1010, when King Ly Thai To moved his capital from Hoa Lu in northern Ninh Binh Province to Hanoi. The Old Quarter became the trading center of the metropolis and its 36 streets are named after the merchants' crafts and trades. For example Hang Gai Street is full of silk shops, Hang Giay overflowing with shoes and Hang Bac with small silversmiths. It is fascinating to walk around the labyrinthine streets.
In the evening, transferring to the railway station for the overnight train to Sapa.
Overnight on train.
The train arrives in the early morning at Lao Cai railway station (around 5am) and transfer to Sapa. Sapa is well-known itself for stunning and spectacular landscape of rice terrace and Indochina highest peak as well as colourful ethnic minority culture.
Check in the hotel and free at leisure.
In the afternoon, visit Cat Cat Village, an age-old village of H'Mong ethnic group remaining unique customs and practices that are lots in other villages, admire a lively and colorful picture. Discover countless unique features of H’Mong.
Overnight in Sapa.
After have breakfast, visit Fansipan peak. Then spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Reach the altitute of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan - the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos). Come back to Cable Car Station and head to Sapa center.
Free at leisure until evening. In the evening, transfer to the Lao Cai railway station for the overnight train to Hanoi.
Overnight on train.
Arrive in Hanoi very early in the morning. Our driver will be waiting to provide pickup and transport to the mini hotel for a refresher before transfer to Halong by car. Upon arrival in Tuan Chau Marina, embark your boat and start cruising. Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site composed of almost 2,000 islands and jungle-clad limestone pillars.
After arriving at noon, you will board a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on Halong Bay with an excellent menu of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner are served on boat.
Overnight on boat.
Enjoy miraculous sunrise over the islets of the Bay. The boat will take us to go about marvelous areas. Then it’s back to the boat and cruise to Halong Port arriving around noon. Back to Hanoi.
Note: The itinerary can be changed depending on the cruise will be chosen.
Upon arrival in Hanoi, check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, you will have a chance to enjoy Water Puppet Show (Optional, the ticket will be charged).
Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast, free at leisure until transfer to Hanoi airport to take the flight home. End of services.
